This is the first post on the new Art of Reality website, so I thought I would take a few moments to go into why the name Art of Reality was chosen.
On one level when I am asked about my painting style, and I say that I paint about reality, people usually think I’m joking as the last thing it appears like is reality, its more like fantasy or science fiction at first glance. What I am referring to are the concepts behind the art, as they are designed to visually communicate certain aspects of the human experience of reality.
The phrase Art of Reality refers to the power of human consciousness to create our personal future realities through the frequency of the energies we radiate in the present moment. In the same way, atoms shape how they interact with the universe by the energies they radiate. It approaches this creative ability from a physics perspective with the common thread of the natural tendency of the universe towards energetic balance, and the ability of consciousness to create imbalance, therefore making use of this natural flow.
Over the last thirty years, it has been my obsession to understand the nature of reality, and in that process, I have learned from hundreds of individuals who have shared there own unique experiences and understandings with me. Even though they may ultimately be saying the same thing, it’s being said in numerous different ways increases the pool of wisdom available to individuals who resonate with different things.
It is my intention to share with you what I have come to understand in the hope that you may find some pieces that resonate and offer value for yourself. On a personal level, I am always learning, and feel there is the potential to learn something from everything and everyone that comes into my experience, even if it’s simply a deeper level of appreciation.
